"It was nothing." Once-ler says with a smile. "And, despite having to do this day-in-and-out...I'm actually having fun painting." The lanky man looks around, and sees that almost all the walls in the room had been painted. "Oh look, I'm nearly finished! And it only took me..." Once-ler's sentence is then cut short when a realization hits him.

"I...don't know how long I've been here." Once-ler admits sheepishly. "In fact...time itself has kinda gotten away from me since I've come here."

At long long last, chapter nine is finally out! Sorry for the long wait, but I hope this chapter more than makes up for it! It has everything- action, comedy, suspense...as well as a little bit of fanservice. ;) This is the final "Mine" chapter, which does have an elimination at the end of it.
